Prior to staining, a deck wash is sprayed on to all decking surfaces, followed by a
complete and thorough power washing. The photo to the right illustrates this. The trellis
in the back has been power washed clean. This is an effective means of removing
the "graying effect" of wood which is common to decks.
We use only the highest quality stains and sealers, brands such as Cuprinol and X-100 Natural Seal. Lake County Painting can offer advice on color selections. The color chosen for decks is typically determined by the color of your home and/or its surrounding landscaping. |
